Project Summary: The external stairwell at Colne Fire Station exhibited signs of concrete deterioration and corrosion of embedded steel reinforcements, compromising structural integrity and safety. A comprehensive repair and protection strategy was implemented, utilising Fosroc’s concrete repair mortars and Sherwin-Williams’ steel protective coatings.
The project was completed successfully, restoring the structural integrity and safety of the external stairwell. The combined use of the Fosroc and Sherwin-Williams products provided durable repairs, extending the lifespan of the structure.
