About Us

About us

Construction Techniques is a multi-disciplinary organisation which aims to achieve excellence in project delivery to the construction industry. With over 30 years experience in delivering high value and complex projects, the company has established a solid reputation for both quality workmanship and safety.

As the business has developed over the past three decades, so has the team, the skills and the diversified portfolio of construction disciplines that can now be offered. Whilst historically we primarily offered concrete repair and refurbishment waterproofing, diversification has resulted in a more holistic offer to clients, including new build waterproofing, pitched and flat roofing, cladding, structural movement joints and internal floor finishes.

Our History

History

Construction Techniques was formed in 1989 by Andrew McCormack, following 20 years contracting experience within the concrete repair and waterproofing industry in both the UK and Asia. During this period, Construction Techniques has built a formidable reputation for delivering projects in partnership with some of the country’s largest main contractors, builders and councils, and continues to support frameworks within civil engineering.

In 2021, Construction Techniques was the subject of a management buy-out, with a view to expanding further into the roofing and structural waterproofing markets. Since then, the company has secured and delivered over £4m of completed projects, including the award winning Urban House (Preston) and Liverpool HMP. Construction Techniques continues to develop its multi-disciplinary offering.

The business will continue to expand and serve the turnkey demands that clients require.
